Thanks to the tremendous efforts of Burke’s Development Office staff and close to 300 people who attended, Burke’s 40th Birthday Bash held at Union Station on March 21 was a wonderful and wonderfully successful event! The event raised over $135,000 for financial aid!
In addition to an energy filled show by the famous DC troupe The Capitol Steps, four very talented Burke alumni performed, and wow, were they amazing! A big round of applause goes out to Susanna (R-R) L. ’99 for her breath-taking aria performances, and the terrifically smooth sounds of trio Evan S. ’03 (guitar), Matt W. ’04 (keyboard), and Malcolm B. ’05 (drums).
Burke may be “Over the Hill” now, but we still party like it’s our Sweet 16.
