J Cole’s letter to the editor in today’s Washington Post corrects yet another article perpetuating the myth that college is only for the wealthy.  Money quote: “By highlighting the importance of standardized testing and the high costs associated with college preparation, the article served to advance myths that create barriers to higher education… especially among low-income families and families of color.”
