I’m not a Yankees fan. But we here at Burke.Word appreciate Sport – even if it has to be played in the Bronx. And we like it even more so when Sport merges with Art. So, I can overcome my displeasure with the course of the 2009 playoffs when watching these 12,000 time-lapse photographs of the final game of the 2009 World Series by photographer Robert Caplin. Caplin, a regular contributor to the NY Times, LA Times, and WSJ, showcased his “12,000 Faceted Diamond” in the great NYT Lens Photography blog. I’m sure that Phillies phans would have preferred that the whole Series went by this fast.

Well I hate the new Yankees but the classic Yankees seem awesome. I won’t let Shapiro get too big a head over his team winning.
