Happy Day After the Winter Solstice!
For us Northern Hemispherians, yesterday at 17:47 GMT the Sun “bounced” off of its lowest point in the sky, marking the shortest day and longest night of the year. From here on out until the Summer Solstice in June 2010, our days get increasingly longer. But until then, that’s what light bulbs, parties and cuddling are for!
