The Boys Varsity Basketball team fought hard on Friday night against a tough Washington International team throughout the game. With only 8 seconds left, and the game tied, Washington International threw over the top of Burke’s full-court press for what looked like an easy lay-in, but Nekkhakhi R. came from nowhere to block the WIS shot off the backboard and David F. with two seconds left launched a shot just over the half-court line. Nothing but net!
