Sister Wendy Flies from Rome just to be at the Burke Assembly today!
Although exhausted from her long journey, Sister Wendy managed to describe in detail and in living (really living as faculty posed in tableau) color the painting Judith Decapitating Holofernes by Artemisia Gentileschi. Art History has never been so much fun! Keep a look out for the upcoming Art showcase. May 27 during Founders Fest the entire school will be used as an art gallery to show off the wonderful student work from this year!
