On August 3rd I wrote a post about beginning my Yoga Teacher Training at Kripalu in Lenox, Massachusetts. I opened with the question I had been receiving in the prior weeks from everyone I encountered. “Will you be teaching yoga?” My answer, at the time, was “I don’t know-hadn’t really thought about it.” If those folks, or anyone else for that matter, were to ask me the question now, my response would be “Of course. I have to-it’s my Dharma.”
Dharma-my calling. As I sit here at 6:17 a.m. enjoying a cup of coffee and realizing that in two hours I will be returning to my other home, Edmund Burke, I am contemplating the reality of my dharma. I love kids. I love Burke. I love Burke kids. Being with them, learning from them, exchanging knowledge–fills me, drains me….is the most natural thing on earth. The last month of absorbing yoga philosophy, lineage, spirituality, poses…..filled me, drained me and filled me some more. I want these things. I want to receive and I want to give. Where do they live within me? Side by Side? What is my Dharma?
I’ll take another sip of coffee, breath in real deep and let the answers come from within. In the meantime, the kids are calling…….

Welcome back, Pam!
